MCKLINTY: [furrows his brow]. As I say though, we got a warrant and are asking around. The state of Michigan does not take such things lightly. Doubt they’ll ever find him, but the flag is flying and he’s made the most wanted list. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
ROSE: Well he ain’t been around here, since maybe Thanksgiving was last I saw the man. Probably halfway to Mexico by now. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The door bell rings and Rose and Officer McKlinty both turn to look. It’s a young women with her young boy, smiling. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
KATE: Hi! Hoping you got room for this young man’s first haircut \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n\n\n\n
ROSE: Sure, hon, just take a seat. Hi there!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The boy is shy, looks around the shop, wanders over to the magazines. One has Tom Hanks and Darryl Hannah on the cover. The boy sees nothing fishy about this and begins to rifle through the pages. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
MCKLINTY: Well I know you’ll let me know if you see him. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
ROSE: And… all done. She dusts off his apron and removes it from the officer’s neck. He rises, much obliged, and heads out into the evening dusk. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
